Pebbles Beach is part of the beautiful Carlisle Bay in Barbados and is especially famous for its easy and accessible snorkeling. The main attraction is the shipwreck area just offshore, which you can reach on your own without booking a tour. It’s close to the beach and easy to spot — just look for where most snorkelers are in the water. If you arrive early in the morning, you’ll notice small boats moored in the bay, with gaps and floating markers indicating the snorkeling spots. It’s best to wait between tour groups, as the area can get busy. There are plenty of fish around, partly because the tour operators feed them, which makes the snorkeling rewarding even for beginners. The water is clear, calm, and beautifully colored, and the beach itself is lovely. That said, it does get very crowded, especially with cruise ship visitors. You can rent beach chairs and find several places selling food and drinks. Overall, a great spot for snorkeling and swimming, but expect a lively, busy atmosphere.

One of the most beautiful beaches we visited during our trip. The water is crystal clear and calm, perfect for swimming and safe for little ones. We came early in the morning and were lucky enough to see racehorses in the sea, which was just magical. Clean sand, great local vibes and food trucks nearby serving delicious bites. A must-visit spot in Barbados, we came back more than once!

Fun beach with waves big enough for surfing/boogie boarding down at the Hilton end. Chairs and umbrellas for rent. Clean bathrooms/changing rooms and plenty of food and drink options.

Well worth a visit if your up early. We were there at 6am just after sunrise so not many people there.
