This former lighthouse has seen better days. The top part is now totally destroyed and collapsed. It is kind of sad looking, but still interesting. I encourage the locals to fix it back up. It would add to the overall experience and total impression for visitors arriving by cruise ship.

A beautiful blend of beauty and sadness trying to photograph this lighthouse while setting onward toward your next destination. Great for families and couples. Worth spending part of your day touring Nassau for sure.

My boyfriend and I were staying with his family at the Atlantis resort and he had visited this lighthouse on his previous trips. It was certainly an arduous journey but the payoff was worth more than I could have ever imagined. We had arrived just before sunset and the views were absolutely picturesque. If you have the ability and opportunity to make the trip, you will not be disappointed!

Absolutely beautiful! We were aboard Royal Caribbeans Harmony of the Seas. The port when we arrived was beautiful. However, it was very busy, to say the least! There were FIVE cruise ships in port at the same time! Too many people for this very small area!!! I will say, though, that Nassau has a new welcome center under way at the cruise port, which is expected to be completed in May 2023! They definitely need that. We saw it under construction, and it is going to be massive. Overall, the views from the ship were much nicer than fighting through the crowds of thousands of people in that small area.
