The staff there were very respectful from the female security at the front up to the highest office.

Dear Minister, last Saturday I went with my 6 years old daughter and her swimming team to Kingston to the National Stadium to do a training session at the National POOL. I'm Italian leaving in Jamaica from 9 years. I married with a Jamaican citizen and my daughter is half Jamaican and we live in Negril. To be honest I had a big expectation but instead I was quite disappointed to see the condition of the National Stadium and the POOL. The water was really dirty as the total environment around. I don't want to talk about the condition of the bathroom and the changing room. HORRIBLE!!! Until now I'm worried about my daughter that could have caught something in that horrible POOL. I understand that SWIMMING is not the major sport in Jamaica but, you as Ministry of Sport, can accept that!!! Are you not worried about the Health of all that children and people that go everyday in that POOL? Do you think that is acceptable? Where our children can practice sports in Jamaica in a safe and clean environment? How Jamaica can be develop and consider not a Third Country still if everywhere you go you see this Deterioration and Carelessness? I wanted to write this experience because I really think that something must be done to improve and to correct the Situation. Please, help to build a better Jamaica !!! Give to our children the opportunity that they deserve and make our Country proud! ACTIONS not only WORDS!!!!
