First, the front desk staff was hospitable and attentive when I raised concerns. However, the room conditions and linens were deplorable and unacceptable. Upon arrival, the room staff did not have the AC on, which I would expect when welcoming guests. At first glance, the comforter/blanket had noticeable stains. In the bathroom (pictured below), the shower curtain was stained and had mildew; there was also a strong, wet, mildewy smell, which I’m guessing came from the shower curtain. The toilet was literally holding on by one hinge. The wash bowl could use some recaulking. The shower looked as though it hadn’t been properly cleaned since the last guest; there was a slimy film on the shower floor. Also, after the second day of our 6-night stay, the bathroom sink started draining slowly and backing up. There is no way someone did a pre-inspection before our arrival. Bear in mind this is my second time staying at the property. On my first visit, everything was immaculate. I'm not sure what happened this time around, but they can and should do better. I gave 3 stars only because of the front desk staff's hospitality and the fact that it's on the main road.

Just ended my trip in Barbados, unfortunately this hotel caught me by surprise with their staff stealing USD. I left my cash in an area for safety purposes and it’s gone. Called the hotel to tell them the bad news and all they said was call the police. No effort whatsoever to help me rethink a possible experience like this could happen. DO NOT STAY HERE. AC did not work at all, guests can pretty much do whatever they want. A trip that I thought was great to end bad.

The reviews for this hotel were excellent. So I booked it for a two day stay. It’s on the main road, so it’s convenient. I arrived after 6, when reception closes, but there was someone there to give us the keys. The walk in and dining area are pleasant appearing. The room I booked was smaller than it appears in photos. I should have checked the dimensions. I was disappointed but that was my fault. The first problem I noticed was the face basin was small and not draining well so water would splash back when I had to brush my teeth. There was cold- lukewarm water only. The worst bit however was the mildew on the old shower hose. It was thick I could scrape it with my fingernail.The towels seemed to be washed in bleach and they had a very raw smell. There was mildew on the walls also. When the room was checked for readiness for a guest, I can understand how they thought putting a guest in that condition bathroom was appropriate. They broke their no refund policy and allowed me to check out early so that was a positive.

Excellent location with spacious rooms. I had a wonderful stay in one of the balcony rooms, which was well-equipped with everything I needed (mini fridge, closet, tv, kettle...etc.) The hotel is conveniently located on the main road so it was easy to catch a ZR van. Walking distance to restaurants, the gap and beaches like Maxwell and Dover. Although I didn’t try the food at the attached restaurant, everything else was spot on. Fyi room cleaning is every three days, but that wasn’t an issue for me. Only complaint was the noise from the pool. I believe the hotel rents out their pool on the weekends (understandable). However, it was incredibly noisy on a Saturday morning. Besides that, my 6 night stay was definitely budget friendly and I had a very pleasant stay. You can't beat the price. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would be happy to return in the future!

Definitely recommended! Staff was Friendly, easy access to pool and public transportation. Located on the main road and every easy to get from airport to hotel. Room is extra spacious for a couple and bathroom upstairs was the semi highlight of the room. Television was well equipped with all types of entertainment and bar staff is great too. Only downside of the bar is the surcharge. But other than that will definitely be coming back again.
