We found Eleven oh 7 listed on HappyCow as a fully vegan spot in Barbados and were excited to finally visit on our last day after several missed attempts. While we discovered they’re no longer fully vegan, it wasn’t a problem for us since they still had a decent selection of vegan options. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which we genuinely appreciated. We ordered a vegan chik'n sandwich with chips and vegan chik'n nuggets to take back to our hotel as our final meal before heading to the airport. Unfortunately, this is where the experience went downhill. The food was extremely greasy, and the oil it had been fried in had a very unpleasant odour and taste, suggesting it hadn’t been changed or was not fresh. The smell and flavour were so off-putting that we could only manage two bites before giving up, and sadly, the rest went to waste. It was a real disappointment, especially since every other food experience in Barbados had been excellent, with fresh and vibrant flavours. Compared to that, this meal felt like the complete opposite. It was a particularly disheartening way to end our trip, as we had been looking forward to it as our last meal on the island.

**Well, the plot thickens.** Before posting my review, I had reached out via WhatsApp and email to give the business a fair chance to respond. They didn’t. It was only after I published the review that I noticed a reply — see attached screenshot. Initially, the message seemed conciliatory: full of apologies, promises to learn from the experience, and what looked like confirmation that the business was under new ownership or management. But when I revisited the response later, I was stunned to find the tone had completely shifted. Suddenly, the blame was being redirected toward me — for ordering burgers that were clearly listed on the Hopscotch order form, and which the business would have had to approve before accepting the order. **Major takeaway for the owner (every pun intended):** Never agree to provide a service you’re not equipped to deliver to the standard your customers deserve. **And finally—let’s not forget the aftermath.** The atmosphere in my home was an absolute 1. The sheer disappointment over the quality of food delivered by your business cast a shadow over what should have been a joyful occasion. I did frequent this establishment more than the once a year the author of the response claims but now I won't be frequenting it again and most certainly will not recomment it. We'd had a hard week and decided to treat ourselves to a Hopscotch delivery from Eleven Oh 7. As a family of 4, it's not the cheap fast food option. Having had food from you before on a few occasions (in person, not delivery), I was really looking forward to the quality and made-from-scratch food I'd eaten before. I convinced my family to order as well. We ordered 2 x beef burgers, 1 vegan burger and 1 x chickn sandwich. All to come with Idaho fries. Did the original owner sell the business because the food delivered was not to the standard expected or advertised? We all made sure to note NOTHING SPICY, yet the Idaho fries had seasoning which contained either copious amounts of paprika or chilli, plus goodness knows what other seasoning. The Idaho fries appear to have come out of a deep freeze and were not at all like the fries I'd had before from you (see picture). I knew the owner had created all the produce from scratch due to her daughter having allergies. I always felt "safe" eating the food, as I also have allergies. What was delivered was, to be quite honest poor quality. Nowhere was the eat with your eyes food I'd had before, the limp piece of roughly torn lettuce, one slither of tomato and two 1/2 slices of pickle with what looked like a Morning Star veggie burger slammed between a soggy-looking bun was not the made-from-scratch food expected, I felt I had been robbed! The rest of the family were equally disappointed. What makes it worse is we could have spent half the amount of money and gone across to Chefette which is opposite our house but we wanted the quality of food I'd raved about to my family. What has gone wrong?! Finally, buyer beware! This isn't 100% vegan or allergy friendly anymore.

Food is good and vegan options , but quite expensive for a food truck. They also charge 10 % gratuity charge. And this was alright, if they could atleast be less stingy about an extra fork or extra tissues. The staff member made a face when i asked for extra tissues though gave some to me. And said he wouldn’t give an extra fork. (Quite rudely so) Like common, the food is expensive, u charge gratuity, and then cannot give 1 additional fork!? I ordered 2 dishes for around 70 bds.
