We had a thrilling time with our tour guide Christian. We booked through Expedia and it was a bit more intense than expected but very fun. Be ready for bat adventures, waterfall climbing, cave swimming, duck walking, and overall great vibes! :) Time: It took roughly 2 hours from start to finish. Notes: Bring pants and long sleeves, closed toe shoes (water shoes if possible), bug spray for the walk to the cave, and water to drink. This is a more adventurous activity. If you have any physical disability I would recommend looking up a few videos first to see if you’re able to do it.

I've visited countless caves, but this one pales in comparison. Ashan was a truly fantastic guide, and we climbed, crawled, and swam through this amazing cave with a small private group of three people plus Ashan. We saw many bats, swallowed countless tiny flies, dodged a plethora of disgusting worms, then crawled a short distance on our stomachs and knees through the crystal-clear water before emerging into a wonderful underwater world. We climbed up and down numerous mini-waterfalls and a few larger ones, bathed and swam in crystal-clear natural pools, and learned a great deal about Barbados' nature and cave system. You really need to be reasonably fit, as the tour is quite challenging. I personally will have to tend to my sore muscles for the next few days. But then again, I'm not exactly in great shape. Nevertheless, it was an incredibly amazing experience, and I'm so glad I went along. That's another reason to work on my fitness and do the tour again. I'm already looking forward to it.

It was a personalized experience with Christian, who is a great source of information and knowledge about the fauna, flora, and history. His kindness and energy made all the difference. Everyone enjoyed it! It's a unique experience, but you need to be reasonably fit. It's important to wear closed-toe shoes, and be aware that you'll get soaked, but you won't get cold.
