Lovely people, great food, and delicious drinks in a rustic Bajan beachside bar and restaurant.
We ordered the steak and onion wrap with mac and cheese, and the Caribbean jerk chicken with fries. We cheekily asked for cheese on the fries, and we were kindly indulged with a smile! Delicious food, would recommend!
Scouts rum punch was great, Bahama Mama perfect, and we even got a margarita and a kaluah and milk to go.

If you are near Oisten’s, do not miss this spot for dinner!
I wish I had more stars to provide. The marlin was the best fish I’ve ever eaten and the jerk chicken covered in delish spices that entertained the palette in a wonderful way. Both the mojito and rum sour were delicious and the fish cakes unmatched. Expect real potatoes and mac and cheese that clings to your memory and fork.
I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff very much and the service was very prompt. They were helpful with suggestions and menu options.
My only regret is not knowing this place existed sooner. I absolutely loved it! The view makes for a perfect sunset opportunity in this open air restaurant with the waves gently rolling against the shore.

Even though the restaurant has been here for several years, yesterday evening was the first time we went. Boy are mom and I upset with ourselves we didn’t go sooner! Food was excellent, staff is super friendly and just being able to watch the sunset while eating dinner is such a great! And I quote from mom “best marlin I’ve had since we arrived”!

The place has a view out to the ocean that is only better at sunset. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food was great. The rum punch delicious. It’s a little pricey for the portion size but you’ll be happy with the food.

Visited in Jan 2026. Unfortunately we went there our second to last night on the island, and it was so good we had to go back again our last night. We even went so far and ordered the same food both nights (jerk chicken and ribs).
Simply a great place, food is simple and delicious, very chill ambience and friendly staff - and of course it helps that it won’t break the bank. Don’t miss this place when you are in south Barbados!
