Of all the George bistros I’ve been to in Amsterdam, this one in Curaçao is by far the best. The location on Penstraat is perfect, and George has its own parking for guests, spacious and easy to find.
The staff is very professional and friendly. The food and drinks are very tasty. There are cute indoor seats, semi-outdoor seating, and a patio/terrace. The restaurant is nicely decorated.
We’ve already been twice during our stay on the island, and we’ll definitely be going again.

Very cute, casual restaurant. We had breakfast here, and everything was great! Be sure to try their little potatoes. They're perfectly cooked and seasoned.

The customer service was excellent, the food tasted good! I’d highly recommend the shrimp cocktail & the burger was also very delicious! We also tried the ravioli which was tasty as well

Food is rather good but not in comparison with the prices. I ordered the burger, but it arrived medium well instead of medium. And XCG 39,- for a burger with a standard patty without fries is very expensive.
The deserts are also very expensive in comparison what you get on your plate.
Service is overall good, but I missed some personal attention. Not a place I will be visiting again to be honest.

Overhyped and mediocre food. The presentation of the food looked good but everything tasted average. For the price I expect the food to be up to par. The bisque was too salty, the steak frites were medium done and dry instead I ordered medium rare and the steak sandwich had old vegetable on it.
Moreover, the service was awful and inattentive. I ordered four dishes to share and I expected all four of them to be served simultaneously. However the bisque and the escargot were served first and later the steak frites and steak sandwich. The staff blamed me and said it was my fault for not informing her to serve all the dishes simultaneously, meanwhile the menu doesn't even state that the bisque is a main or a starter. Secondly, I was ignored by the staff when I asked him a question. He walked off and left me hanging by the door. Thirdly, the staff did offer a compensation of a dessert for the mediocre food and awful service, but we politely declined as our experience was already negatively affected. Lastly, I do appreciate the last staff that helped us to hear us out and try to improve our experience.
