We visited several days ago. The church is beautiful. It was open for us to go inside. I walked to the front & turned around to see the stunning pipe organ. Fortunately we were able to go to the balcony to get a closer look at the organ & the stain glass window above it. We walked around the outside. Micheal, the caretaker saw us. He gave us some history of the church & proudly told us of everything the church does to help the people of Barbados. He was a wealth of information about the island.

This year's Sarah Ann Gill Memorial Lecture was held in this historic building. It was an awesome experience; especially because I was able to meet and chat with Prof Lartey. An author whose work I admire and have studied.

We were shown around the church some years ago by a delightful gentleman who went out of his way To tell us about his Church .He toped off a very pleasant visit by presenting my wife with a very nice book marker , with a prayer on one side and an happy Anniversary on the other . We have it still Although we did not attend the church while a service was ever in progress for fear of being out siders and intruding. We really did used to enjoy the wonderfully, vibrant singing that can be heard whenever walking to the beach

This church was beautifully restored between 2002 and 2004. It has exposed brick and is lovingly maintained. It is on of the oldest Methodist churches in the island. The congregation has always been welcoming.
