Bay Tavern was one of those places that instantly felt welcoming. Good food, a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful sea views made it easy to settle in and enjoy the moment. Super homely food with big portions.

We walked from Bathsheba village to baths bay along the coastal path. We stopped into this little gem. There is a selection of meat and fish on the menu. The last behind the counter let us sample the starches first because we had never tasted. It is a really charming little place that feels very authentic.

We did a hiking trail from Bath beach to Batsheba and Bay Tavern was out halfway point. We decided to take a break and try the food here. So glad we did, the food was DELICIOUS! Portions were generous and prices very reasonable.

I tried the Bay Tavern multiple times during my visit to Martins Bay. It became easily my favorite spot in Barbados. Staff is awesome and friendly. Food is high quality, clean, and good portions. Prices are reasonable (I have seen double the prices for a lesser quality food and drinks in other restaurants). They have Karaoke on Thursdays from Noon till around 8 pm. One of the best things to do is to grab your food/ drink and enjoy the scene from the windows/ or in front of the restaurant! (The view is attached)
