Very clean and well organized. Yes small and different from the main airport in the USA. With that being said it's still very welcoming. Local shops and food.

It is an efficient world class airport with easy, and effient entry and departure. It is in line with all ICAO standards. The staff were professional and experienced in dealing with people from different countries. The terminal is clean and built very well for the climate. I've been travelling here since 1967 when it was called Sewell airport. One of my uncles worked as a baggage handler there during the days of Eastern Airlines. I have very fond memories of BWIA, BOAC, LIAT, and the Concord taking off and leaving.

I was looking forward to my trip, but the experience at Barbados Airport left a lot to be desired. The terminal is open-air, which means it gets uncomfortably hot, especially with the Caribbean humidity – not ideal when waiting for flights. On top of that, food options are limited, overpriced, and frankly disappointing in quality. A simple snack can set you back quite a bit, and the selection is poor. Overall, the airport needs improvement to make it more comfortable for travelers passing through.

Well-maintained, well-run, ultra-efficient airport with friendly staff. I was out of arrivals in 15 minutes and later back into departures at my gate in 15 minutes. This is how an airport should operate. The management at YYZ should visit BGI and take some notes
