First time in Barbados and I picked this hotel. The pictures and details do not add up. I feel like I was catfished for my coins. Some staff were pleasant and some were rude. I don’t know if I came at wrong time by it was definitely a lot of people 20 to 30 years old than me and that’s cool and all but it gave retirement vibes. I’m not even close that that yet. Rooms need an upgrade asap. The coolest thing on that they had was that the room key was like a fit bit watch. I can go on and on but I won’t. I made the best out of it! I hope this helps the next person!

Just spent 11 nights at the hotel. The hotel is in dire need of some maintenance and is long overdue an update. But in that I can honestly say it is a great All Incn hotel. The food is really nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our frind was surprised when he went back to his room and the cleaning staff had left a nice surpeise. So pleasw ignore previous comments about the staff. We used this as a base to explore and carry out activities but with the bonus of having everything on site if needed. There is evening entertainment and a good atmosphere around the place and branded drinks. Special mention to Sean and Sandra at the bar who couldn't do enough to help.

Mixed feelings about our stay. On one hand, the location is stunning, right next to a beautiful beach and the ocean. It’s close enough to a few attractions, yet still feels quiet, private and a little tucked away, which we really liked.
On the other hand, the hotel’s online representation doesn’t quite match the reality. The photos appear to be around six or seven years old, so the property feels much more run down and dated than you might expect when you arrive.
That said, I did enjoy our stay overall. The food was great and the all inclusive drinks were very good. Some of the staff were lovely too. A special mention to Sandra, who was the sweetest lady, along with a few of the women working in the dining area who were always welcoming and friendly.
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the reception team. The ladies at reception came across as quite rude and seemed to have little time for guests. When we checked in, it felt like they wanted us to leave as quickly as possible. It’s not the best first impression after a long journey and not a very pleasant welcome. They would definitely benefit from better customer service training or being replaced.
The rooms were adequate. There were a few small issues, but nothing the hotel doesn’t already seem to be aware of. The pool also needed cleaning. Several guests raised this during our stay, but nothing appeared to be done about it.
Overall, the hotel really just needs some investment and renovation. Considering the prices being charged, it feels like this should be possible. Leaning more into a beach club style would work really well here. Things like straw or grass roofs over the bar and wooden umbrellas, a fresh coat of paint on the exterior (perhaps white), and modernising the guest areas and rooms would make a big difference. I genuinely think it would be worth it.
All in all, we still had a good time and I would consider staying again. However, if I returned, I would probably try the hotel next door..

Overall the hotel was and is a good place to stay, albeit parts were in need of TLC. The rooms have been described by others as 'basic', although I'm not a well worn traveller, it provided all that I needed and was clean abd serviced each day. The food was good and varied each day and possibly favoured adults than children who might be more fussy what they eat. The service was good and the staff were very helpful friendly. Access to be beach is great, hassle free. The pool maybe a bit small, but my Olympic days are over! You have a 15 minute walk to the main road to access local transport.

The property advertised online does not reflect the reality. Having been fortunate enough to travel extensively and stay in many quality establishments around the world, I can confidently say this was a deeply disappointing experience.
This is not a resort - it is, at best, a dated motel. The property was visibly unclean, with peeling paint and a general sense of neglect throughout. The food was beyond bad - poorly prepared, lacking in quality, and well below even the most basic expectations.
I strongly advise others to reconsider before booking. In my view, this property presents itself as a resort, but fails to deliver even fundamental standards of comfort, cleanliness, dining, and service.
